Melodies on the Menu with Snacks In-Person
Come relax, grab a snack, and peruse our exhibit "Melodies on the Menu: A Celebration of Food and Music." The Conservatory Library has many editions of the Coffee Cantata, but did you know we also have scores for a cake recipe by Emily Dickinson set to music by Sylvia Glickman, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg's pot roast recipe transcribed by Jane Ginsburg and set to music by Vivian Fung? See these on display, along with other scores and recordings of works about or inspired by food and drink. We have a whiteboard set up for you to tell us what other food-inspired music you enjoy, or what music makes you hungry!
