Knot Tying and Sustainable Scrimshaw

Knot Tying and Sustainable Scrimshaw In-Person

In conjunction with the "Billy Budd" exhibit and "Going to Sea: Maritime Imagery in Our Special Collections" exhibits, come and learn how to tie some "sailor" knots and how to make "sustainable" scrimshaw art (we use recycled plastic instead of ivory!).  Supplies are free and available while they last.
This event will be held in the Library Learning Lab (Mudd 113) and is sponsored by the Friends of the Oberlin College Libraries.
