Search.Libraries Basics In-Person
In June, the Libraries launched its new library platform, Search.Libraries. It replaces OBIS, Summon, the Journal Finder, and the OhioLINK catalog as the primary starting point for access to Oberlin and OhioLINK physical and electronic books, articles, scores, recordings, films, and more.
In this 30-minute session, you’ll learn to:
- Conduct basic searches for books, articles, scores, and streaming sound/video
- Identify and request materials held in OhioLINK libraries
- Submit an interlibrary loan request for materials beyond Oberlin or OhioLINK
Brief discussion of the new EBSCO interface and searching finding aids in the Oberlin Archives
