2nd Annual Terrell Library Chalk Mural In-Person
Transfer to wall this evening!
Transform the contemplation garden’s grey wall into a work of art.
Work with local artist: Beth Wolosz
- Learn all that is involved in creating a chalk mural.
- Design and chalk the spine of your favorite book
- Have fun, meet fellow students, and get messy.
- Put your mark on the library, sign-up for the 2nd annual Terrell Library Chalk Mural.
To participate you must register as an individual or as a team (up to 3 people). Individuals must submit their design on time and be able to transfer their design on Sept 11 and chalk on Sept. 13/14. Teams must also complete each step, but may divide the tasks involved in creating a chalk mural.

By signing up you or your team commits to completing the following steps:
- Creating a book spine design, turning it in on time, helping transfer the design to the wall, and chalking it in
Sept 9 (Tuesday)
- On or before the 9th you must turn in your completed sketch
Sept 11 (Thursday)
- Transfer your drawing to wall on the evening of Thursday, Sept. 11. All drawings will be transferred on that night.
Sept 13-14 (Saturday-Sunday)
- Chalking your design
- You will sign up for one of the dates above. You must finish your chalking on the same day.
Once you or your team signs-up we will provide a template for you to create your book design for the wall.
