“Long Story Short Award” - Submit a Story
Students are invited to submit their short stories of 7,500 characters or less for the international contest, the Long Story Short Award 2025, starting on September 29th at 09:00 a.m. EST and ending November 2nd at 11:59 p.m. EST.
The jury’s winner and the public winner will be awarded $550 each. The jury’s coup de cœur (jury's favorite) will be awarded $400.
There is a special prize for the school that submits the most entries to the contest. Let’s do this!!

Whether you win a prize or not, your work will be published online alongside those of fellow students from campuses worldwide, creating a bridge between thousands of students around the world. In addition, Short Édition will be considering all submissions for international publication in their 500+ Dispensers worldwide.
